Completion Requirements
Legislation became effective July 1, 2001 requiring the Virginia Board for Asbestos, Lead, and Home Inspectors to establish a voluntary certification program for home inspectors no later than July 1, 2003.
The Board is currently developing regulations for this program. This program will be voluntary. We will update our site as soon as we are notified as to the status of these regulations.
