Completion Requirements
All journeyman and master electricians shall submit proof of 15 hours of related classroom instruction every three years.
Courses must be pre-approved by the Board.
Renewal Dates
Plumber's license renewal occurs yearly based on the date of initial issuance.
Electrical license renewal occurs every three years based on the date of initial issuance.

Special Designations or Stipulations:
Proof of completion of continuing education requirements for electricians shall be submitted with the licensee's renewal fee. **Only courses completed involving the National Electrical Code changes shall be recognized as meeting this requirement.
Each licensee shall take a course on the 1999 National Electrical Code changes in order to renew their license when it expires on the last day of the month of birth in the year 2000. Each licensee may submit copies of the certificates received. Original certificates will not be returned. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATES UNTIL YOUR RENEWAL IN 2000.
