Completion Requirements
Licensed electricians are required to show 7 hours of state-approved continuing education.
Of the 7 hours, 3 must be in Connecticut Laws & Standards and 4 hours in the 2002 National Electrical Code.
Renewal Dates
Renewal for electrical contractors occurs September 30 annually.
Renewal for heating, piping and cooling contractors occurs August 31 annually.
Renewal for home improvement contractors occurs November 30 annually.
Renewal for major contractors occurs June 30 annually.
Renewal for plumbing and piping contractors occurs October 31 annually.
