Completion Requirements
Attention California Interior Design Professionals: Interior design professionals are not regulated by a state board in the state of California, however, the California Council for Interior Design Certification (CCIDC) does require one (1) CEU (10 hours) every two years for certified interior designers.
The CCIDC recognizes the Interior Design Continuing Education Council/American Society of Interior Designers (IDCEC/ASID) as an automatic provider of Interior Design continuing education courses. The CCIDC also automatically accepts courses registered with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) provided they are relevant to interior design.
